If you receive an "authentication error" when starting Social Booth, do the following:


  • Right click on Social Booth
  • Click "properties"
  • Click "compatibility" tab
  • Select "run this program as an administrator"
  • Click "apply" and then "ok"
  • Re-run Social Booth
  • Press "change when these notifications appear"
  • Move the bar all the way to the bottom so that it's "never"
  • Re-run Social Booth, the error should now be cleared
